I received a BA in 1986 in Theater Arts with a dance and Psychology minor from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO. I have extensive experience in performing including Theater, Dance (Musical Theater), Improvisation, film and television. At that time I began my continuous training and teaching at Fred Astaire Dance studios. I taught there for 5 years and then independently. I began specializing in wedding dances about 2008.

I received my MA in Clinical Psychology in 1992 followed by work in addictions, domestic violence and private practice, including couples counseling for 7 years
